The fact that St Barts airport can only accommodate small aircraft
and that incoming and outbound flights stop at sunset, maintains
the island’s intimate and exclusive character.
This also means that getting to and from St Barts is a particular
experience, which can be a concern to visitors. |

Delayed flights into St Maarten can cause connections
to be missed, and the planes coming into St Barts are restricted
in the number of passengers and in the weight they can carry.
As such passengers, and more often their luggage, can spend the
night on St Maarten.
Bad weather can also affect local flight schedules, causing backlogs
in the check-in lines and again, passenger and luggage delays.
Our VIP Arrival and Departure Airport Service takes the stress
out of the process, and our professional staff is on hand to ensure
your journey to and from St Barts is as smooth as possible.
You will either enter the new Juliana airport ( SXM
) by a shuttle bus off the tarmac or by a catwalk from the
plane directly into the terminal. Either way you go DIRECTLY
to the Transfer Information desk.
You will be met at the Transfer Information desk in
St Maarten airport by the transit gate, by a uniformed member
of staff. |

Your hand luggage will be carried for and your checked luggage
tags will be taken from you.
You will be escorted through the transit gate, by passing
immigration and customs where you will be handed your boarding
card for your flight to St Barts.
A VIP lounge is available should you wish to make use of
it (20$ per person).
Your luggage will be collected before it hits the carousel
and will be loaded directly onto your flight to St Barts.
Should there be a delay between arrival and your outbound
flight our staff will endeavour to get you on an earlier plane
to St Barts.
Should your incoming flight to St Maarten be delayed and
you miss your connection, our staff will endeavour to get you
on a later flight to St Barts.
Should there not be enough room for your luggage on your
flight to St Barts, our staff will do their best get it onto another,
regardless of airline.
Should for any reason there be no flights to St Barts, our
staff will organise you a ferry, and accompany you and your luggage
to the dock. Alternatively they can arrange private boat charters,
even a hotel reservation on St Maarten, including taxis, restaurant
reservations etc.
On arrival on St Barts, you will be met in the arrivals
hall by a Premium IV representative.
Your hand luggage will be carried for and your checked luggage
tags will be taken from you and your luggage taken care of.
You will be escorted to your Real Estate representative,
or hotel driver for the transfer to your place of stay. Should
your bags be delayed we can deliver them for you. |
