Premium IV and Premium Island Vacations are two separate companies. Premium IV arranges concierge and destination services on St Barts. We do not rent villas—that is handled by our sister company Premium Island Vacations. We work with guests staying in any villa, but in busy periods we may prioritise clients in Premium Island Vacations properties.
Both Vincent and James are bilingual in French and English.
Vincent Chevalier moved to St Barts in the late 1990s and lives on the island permanently with his wife and two children. He has worked in hospitality at leading restaurants and hotels in France, the UK, the USA, and St Barts.
James Daltrey, from England, lived on St Barts from 2003 to 2011 and has more than twenty years’ experience in receptive tourism. He stays in close touch with the island and visits frequently.
Since 2005 we have set a high standard for VIP service and destination management on the island. We do not name our clients publicly—discretion is part of what we do. References are available on request. Please contact us with any questions.
What it costs to use Premium IV
Using Premium IV costs little more than arranging everything yourself. We add a 10% administration fee for coordinating your stay—contacts, bookings, and follow-through—so you save time.
There is no reduction on the administration fee for villa bookings through Premium Island Vacations. On selected Premium Island Vacations properties, VIP airport service may be included at no charge, at our discretion.
Apart from our own time when our labour is required, we do not add surcharges on massages, boat trips, private chefs, car rental, or similar bookings.
How we book third-party services
St Barts runs on a network of independent operators, chefs, captains, and therapists. We book across that network to match your dates and requirements—we do not list supplier names on the website, and the people available change from season to season. Our 10% administration fee covers coordination; apart from Premium IV's own labour, we pass through provider rates without mark-ups.
Concierge services for villa owners renting direct
If you rent your villa directly—whether you live on St Barts or not—we can provide your guests with concierge support before they arrive. You can stay the main point of contact, or ask us to handle all pre-arrival communication.
For St Barts villa owners, shopping and delivery is €50 per hour. Meet and greet at the airport or dock is a flat €50.
For direct rentals we provide 24/7 support for guests’ vacation needs and can act as a message channel for technical or emergency issues. If you use an agency, we can still fill gaps—daily shopping, delayed baggage delivery, and round-the-clock requests.

St Barts destination management
We brand as a concierge company, but much of our work matches destination management: incentives, corporate groups, and special events since 2005—from small family gatherings to events for hundreds of guests. Our special events pages show the range of ground arrangements we handle.
We work with our sister office Premium IV NYC for commissionable accommodation while Premium IV SBH handles ground logistics. Our strength is knowing what is possible on a small island, what is impractical, and what guests should not miss.
